Kini, memiliki blog bukanlah hal yang istimewa lagi bagi para netter. Profesi blogger tak lagi dianggap profesi yang langka. Bahkan tak jarang kita temui orang yang menjadi fulltime blogger dan mengelola blog untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-harinya.

Misalnya saat menjawab komentar pengunjung blog ini, diskusi di forum adsense-id, blogcatalog, blog ateonsoft.com, dan entah dimana lagi.

Bukan hanya saya, blogger lainpun banyak yang berpendapat bahwa domain gratis seperti co.cc tidak akan terindex di alexa.

Tapi faktanya, kini domain saya www.syahur.co.cc sudah terindex di alexa rank, walaupun masih dalam angka jutaan. He he he

Nah, itu baru dari segi HP bro. Kalo dari segi operator selular lain lagi. Menurut pengalaman saya. Ada beberapa operator selular yang langsung mengaktifkan otomatis gprs kita saat kita beli kartu perdana. Namun adapula operator selular yang mengharuskan kita melakukan aktivasi gprs agar fitur gprs bisa kita gunakan.
Agak susah sih cara ngejelasinnya. Karena tentu tiap handphone akan beda pula cara setting gprsnya. Tapi yang jelas, inti atau core dari setting gprs adalah:

Menampilkan Autorun.inf dengan mengatakan "Ciluk Baa!"

Tidak bisa dipungkiri, semakin canggih antivirus, semakin canggih pula virusnya. Salah satu sarana bagi virus untuk cepat menyebar adalah melalui flashdisk.

Saya tidak begitu paham tentang virus, bagaimana cara kerjanya, gejala terserang virus, bahkan cara kerja antivirus. Mungkin forum-forum komputer atau majalan-majalah komputer bisa menjadi referensi bagus untuk anda simak.

Tapi sejauh pengalaman saya, hampir semua virus memanfaatkan file bernama Autorun.inf untuk mengeksekusi file virusnya. Karena saya termasuk orang yang malas membaca, saya belum menemukan artikel yang menjelaskan sistem kerja autorun.inf ini. Namun saya hanya bisa menebak dari nama file ini saja. File autorun.inf digunakan untuk memanggil file virus secara otomatis saat drive external dimasukkan. Bisa berupa flasdisk, CD, DVD, dan sebagainya.

Mohon maaf jika ada kesalahan statement. Saya berkata begitu cuma nebak doang. Soalnya di beberapa CD yang ada file autorun.inf nya selalu ada file yang otomatis jalan saat CD dimasukkan. Begitu pula dengan virus dan flasdisk. Melalui file autorun.inf, ketika flashdisk dihubungkan dengan komputer, maka file autorun.inf akan memanggil file virus dan virus akan segera menular ke komputer.

Sekali lagi, ini hanya statement bodoh saya yang tidak paham apa apa tentang kinerja virus. Saya hanya menebak saya dari beberapa fenomena virus yang menyerang komputer saya dan komputer teman saya.

Lagi, gejala virus biasanya nih, meng-hide file autorun.inf, sehingga jika kita hendak menghapus file autorun.inf jadi gak bisa karena filenya gak keliatan. Terlebih lagi jika ada virus yang menonaktifkan fungsi Tools >> Folder Options >> View >> Show Hidden files and folders. Walaupun sudah melakukan opsi tersebut file autorun.inf nya gak bakal keliatan.

Nah, setelah saya melakukan googling dan bertanya kepada teman, especially bang Ferdi, saya menemukan jawaban bagaimana cara mengatakan ciluk baa! pada file autorun.inf. Tujuannya adalah, setelah file autorun.inf kita temukan tempat persembunyiannya, kita buka file autorun.inf itu dengan notepad, maka kita bisa tahu file autorun.inf itu ngarahnya ke file mana. Alias, kita bisa tahu posisi virus itu disembunyikan. Walaupun tidak bisa membersihkannya, setidaknya kita bisa lega bisa tahu dimana virus itu bersembunyi. Walaupun pada kenyataannya kebanyak virus 'membelah diri' dan nyasar dan menyusup ke directory lain di komputer kita. Cape deh..

Jadi, intinya adalah, saya hanya ingin berbagi cara bagaiman menampilkan file kita yang terhidden, terutama di flasdisk, termasuk file autorun.inf. Jadi, kalo ada flashdisk yang keliatan kosong tapi saat mengecek propertisnya ternyata sudah ada isinya, itu berarti files yang ada di flashdisk kita ter-hidden. Beginilah cara mengatakan ciluk baa! kepada files hidden tersebut:

1. klik start


2. klik Run


3. ketik cmd


4. tekan Enter

Lalu akan muncul windows command prompt.

1. ketik directory flasdisk anda, anggaplah flasdisk anda sekarang berada di E, maka ketik E: dan tekan ENTER


2. ketik attrib -h -s -r -a


3. tekan ENTER

Ciluk baa! semua file hidden yang ada di flashdisk anda akan kelihatan.

Anda bisa menambahkan kekhususan pada file tertentu dengan mengetik nama file tersebut setelah -a di atas. Misalnya:

• attrib -h -s -r -a autorun.inf

Sehingga file hidden yang akan tampil hanya file autorun.inf saja.

note: ganti tanda ( - ) dengan ( + ) untuk perintah sebaliknya.

oh iya...

Supaya file autorunnya kita nonaktifkan untuk selamanya di komputer kita, kita bisa melumpuhannya dengan sangat mudah. Alias, kita akan menonaktifkan fungsi autorun disemua drive yang masuk ke komputer kita. Caranya:

1. klik start


2. klik run


3. ketik gpedit.msc


4. tekan ENTER

Maka kita akan dihadapkan pada windows Group Policy.

• Masuklah ke direktori User Configuration >> Administrative Templates >> System


• Double klik pada Turn Off Autoplay


• Aktifkan tombol Enable
